Gervasi Winery

Happy Birthday to Me! What an amazing day we had at Gervasi Vineyard in Canton, OH! With 15 family members in total, we decided to take a drive to an enchanting adventure that blended the elegance of wine tasting with the joy of familial bonds. Time is one thing you’ll never get back in life. Make sure you’re always making memories and taking pictures with the people you love most. Our day began with a wine tasting session, for which we thankfully had reservations. Keep scrolling to see pictures of the fun and drinks we had at the winery.

Although we didn't have dinner reservations at the Crush House, the accommodating staff managed to seat us relatively close together, ensuring our chatter continued over a tasty meal. My mom ordered a bottle of chardonnay, which was our first glass of wine at the tasting. Of course, I had to get a drink in at each family table! The restaurant had to sit our big party at 2 different tables, so I decided, that was a perfect time for each table to pick up a drink on their tab for me. I was able to have a glass of their red sangria which I recommend, I would say it’s not super sweet taste wise, but I do prefer a semi sweet wine and not too dry. My brother was in town from Georgia and I figured it would be the perfect time to celebrate my birthday, but also have a reason to get together with family.

Plan a day to visit Gervasi and don’t forget to make some reservations especially if you want to have a group wine tasting just like my family did.

This winery is kid friendly, and I bring my daughter with me everywhere. So of course she joined us at the cave and also for dinner. To make reservations at The Cave you would need a party of 8-16 people and it cost $29 per person. It’s a 45 min to an hour experience and if you’re someone who gets cold, bring a jacket.

The property at Gervasi is nothing short of breathtaking. Nestled amidst lush greenery and well-kept vineyards, it feels like an escape from the everyday hustle. My family and I couldn't resist the beautiful vineyard for a spontaneous photo shoot. Amidst rows of grapevines and under the setting skies, we captured memories that will last a lifetime! The picturesque landscape offered the perfect backdrop for our smiles and laughter, making it an Instagram-worthy experience that we had to capture.

What makes Gervasi truly special is its versatility. The property boasts not only diverse dining options but also luxurious overnight accommodations and a rejuvenating spa. It's the perfect mini weekend getaway, offering both relaxation and a touch of adventure. I love that Gervasi is kid-friendly, allowing me to bring my daughter along to share in the fun. As we left, I couldn't help but feel the pull to return soon. There are still so many restaurants on the property left to explore, and I can't wait to dive into another culinary journey on our next visit. Until then, I'll be cherishing the wonderful memories made and eagerly anticipating our next Gervasi escapade!
