What is a brand ambassador/affiliate? Someone who represents a brand in a positive way, and by doing so they’re also able to help increase brand awareness and sales. Sometimes the association with brands can be paid with free incentives such as gift cards to their store.

Who can become one? Anyone!

How to become one? Just be yourself, be aware of the brand you want to become a brand ambassador for and truly love their products! This should come easy to you, especially when you’re well aware of the brands beliefs and what they’re all about. You should see yourself in that brand.

Where to look? or be discovered? Social media will be your biggest help! If your looking more into a smaller store in your home town, be sure to stop in and show your face if you already don’t by shopping and keeping up to date on all of their latest products. A great way to gain a little income boost is becoming an affiliate for brands that you’re already using. You don’t need a crazy follower account to do this either, all you need is the tribe you already have on social media.

Why become a brand ambassador? Do it because its something your passionate about. If there is a company and you genuinely love their products, customer service and what their brand is all about help be an advocate for them :) This could also help you earn a small commission or free products when working with the brands you love!

I started my first brand ambassador program in 2018 with Bio Seaweed Gel. I have now added a few more brands to my list which include Erica's and PLA nails, & Zoeve. I discovered BSG in 2017 when one of my favorite nail techs would always use their products and post about them. They even named a color after her, which is one of my favorites still to this day Kandiyamz.

I was noticed by this brand when I started using a lot of their products and just tagging them in every post. I would just post because I truly loved the brand. (so be sure your tagging brands and using hashtags that relate to what your using.) When you tag brands it shows people, not only what products you're using but also lays a foundation for both your followers and the brands you admire. This is how I became an affiliate for Erica’s!

I started using her products in 2018 and noticed how much my work changed just by investing in better tools and implements. My nail time decreased just by watching her videos and tips and eventually I invested in a class, she offers at her headquarters and my life has been forever changed by that. ( I included a few links, if you click them and shop I’ll earn a small commission <3) My most used bit is the Gel X bit this is the first bit I use at the start of every service. ( Its great at quickly removing gel polish and acrylic product.) My favorite bit for cuticle work is the Russian Nib if you love doing cuticle work, then this right here is a game changer! Use your own twist and personality when sending your email out to the brands you love. Also keep it short and sweet but straight to the point. What do you have to lose?..…Nothing! I now have been affiliated with several different brands throughout my nail career! I have learned so much from each experience within these brands. You Can, and should be an affiliate for the brands you love. You never know what type of opportunity it’ll bless you with, and everyone can benefit because of it.
