Family Traditions

What family traditions will you pass down to your kids? Christmas pajamas the night of Christmas Eve, baking a homemade cake for a loved ones birthday, decorating your home with generations of home decor. Recipe cards filled with a love language to fill your belly. Traditions are so meaningful and special.

Since the age of 3, my daughter has been visiting Disney every year for her birthday. What better way than to celebrate at one of the most magical places for kids. Every year my husband and I pick one park to visit for her birthday and we hang out and make it as special as possible for her. Usually when families visit Disney they try to hit every park in one week, but for us we wanted to make sure each trip always felt different and magical in its own way.

Family traditions look different for everyone. I always ask my clients around this time of year what family traditions they have or have started themselves. I would love to know yours also, so before you leave me make sure you drop your family tradition below because I love hearing what other people do in their lives. This year we decided to skip the Disney park and try a Disney cruise. ( I will have a few tips for you after we get back) We’ve heard so many amazing things about cruising with Disney but also my daughter has had a count down ever since she found out we were going! She is more than excited to go.

Lorren With Princess Jasmine at Epcot 2022

The end of the year is always my favorite time of year because it holds so many great memories and moments for us. Lorrens birthday, our anniversary, the holidays like Halloween, Thanksgiving and of course we can’t forget Christmas! I will even include New Years because the end of the year is a close out to so many great things but they all feel so magical and warm because of the people you get to spend it with. The holiday time can be tough for some people but in life create the moments and magic you want in your life, it’ll make things that much more special.

If this helped bring back childhood memories like it did for me, make sure to leave a comment below to let me and also others know that you stopped by to chat. Also each comment will help you come that much closer to winning a $20 gift card for stopping by the blog and hanging out with me here. Chat with you Soon!

PS I can’t wait to show you our family Halloween costumes this year!
