Why you should attend your first trade show..

Attending a trade show as a beginner nail technician can be a great way to learn about the latest products in the industry, network with other nail technicians, and get advice from experienced people who have been in the game for a bit. Trade shows are a great place to find out about new trends, products, and techniques.

By attending a trade show as a beginner nail technician, you can learn more about the business side of the industry and build relationships with vendors, manufacturers, and meet your favorite nail techs! You can also see the newest products and tools on the market and get an idea of what it takes to become a successful nail technician. Plus, attending a trade show is fun and such an experience.

My first trade show was overwhelming but fun! Imagine walking into a huge convention center the size of a few football fields. If I didn’t have anxiety before that, I did when I walked in there! It was overwhelming to be in such a big space filled with so many different creatives in this industry. You finally get to interact in person with other people who have the same passion as you!

I ran into a few of my favorite nail techs my first trade show. Grabbed a few flicks with them and stopped by booths of my favorite nail brands. The showroom floor is easy to get lost, for how big the convention center is. There were so many tables to overlook with new nail goodies!

One thing I wish I would’ve done differently is plan out more time to take those free classes!
