No Deposit & Why Its A Problem

Girl if your not taking a deposit for your service, stop right there and put a stop to that this week! Taking a deposit for a service someone hasn’t received yet can be scary, I get it. I’ve been there before too! My goal for you, after you’ve read this article is to help you be more prepared to take clients who are deposit ready and be comfortable doing it. 🙌🏽 Your time is money queen! Which is why, when someone is booking a spot for a time and they don’t show up, means you’re not getting paid for that time if they decide not to show. Your time is money, and since we’re in the business of trading our time for money we need to make sure, we’re not wasting precious time.

It’s always best to take a deposit because sometimes I feel as though new clients get nervous about visiting a new person so they end up backing out and canceling last minute. 🙃Getting your money upfront helps with your cash flow and gives you more control over your finances. However much you decide to take as a deposit from your clients is totally your call, but this is your sign to start making sure every appointment has a deposit attached or a card on file to help with last minute cancellation fees.

Hope this message found you well!

With Love Always!
