Platforms+Tools I Use To Run My Business

I am NOT apart of the gate keeping club! My mom always told me secrets don’t make friends, so here I am sharing the knowledge I’ve gained with you queen. I’m always trying out new apps that help me automate my business or make my socials super different and cute. I hope you find these apps as helpful as I do and I’m sure you’ll have your list of favorites because I know I’ve developed a few myself, so lets get down to business so you can get started!

You get to that point in your business where you know exactly what your suppose to be doing during the hours you take clients, but what about the time before, the small breaks and even after you get off? Life gets so ahead of us and I get it we forget to do things including keep up with social media while running a business maybe being a super mom and whatever else life calls for us to do. Thats where those platforms come along that help automate your business so your business is still in motion even when you need a moment to yourself. Planning out your content can sound like a lot of work but it also helps keep things a little more organized and ahead of the game on nights your feeling behind.

Square: This platform is liquid gold! ✨ The good stuff, Ive been using this platform ever since I started my business. It helps me organize my appointments for my clients and even my day to day activities. I love that they send appointment confirmations the day of and the day before so its something I don’t have to worry about doing. You can block time off of your schedule, and the best thing about the app is that it is FREE! Yesss queen. Although there are features you would need to pay for.

Squarespace: This platform is one I’m still getting familiar with but it’s what we’re on right now. I run my website through here and its so convenient! It’s a user friendly platform where you can sell products, showcase more of your work add blogs and track inventory you may carry!

Canva: Anything you want to create, this app has it! From business cards, logos, blog posts, pins for Pinterest, Instagram highlights it has everything! I do pay the upgraded version for this app to use the pro features without the watermark but if your just starting out the free version works just fine! I’ve had Canva for years and I just started using the upgraded version.

Photogrid: Have you noticed that white box around my pictures on Instagram or the watermark I add in the bottom right corner of pictures? That’s what I use PhotoGrid for. Its useful to also add your own logo and watermarks to, and resize pictures to fit a certain format.

Preview/ Planoly: Scheduling your post, yesss queen it’s a thing! 💕 Save your time by adding this to your life. I started out using planoly but for some odd reason it kept logging me out of my account so I just switched to another platform which is Preview. They both have the same exact concept and it even comes with a posting schedule you can use to plan out your content on certain days and times.

Facetune: I’m not making my booty bigger or anything super crazy with this app but it helps having it if there if a small imperfection on someones nails or smoothing out an imperfection on their skin. (You can also enhance features though 😂😅, totally not judging if you do) I wouldn’t over use this app because you will be able to tell that you altered the image but those small imperfections that go unnoticed to our clients seem to stick out so much more to us, so this app helps.

500+ stories: How do I create those interactive stories? I was scrolling through TikTok one day and found someone talking about this. Now it is an app you’ll need to purchase, so if you don’t plan on using this a few times a week or at least once a month it wouldn’t be worth it for you, in my opinion. You would just be creating a new bill. 🥴

Trendtok: Finding trending things on TikTok these days can be tricky….want to know what song is on the rise and what is falling from the charts? This app is one you’ll need in your back pocket. This app has a limited time free option but overall it does cost to use this app.

These are all of the apps I use from day to day and I hope you find these useful and insightful as much as I do! 🙌🏽 If you need help navigating them or have any questions, I don’t mind helping you out! So drop a comment if you found this helpful.

Love You Queen!
