Prioritizing Yourself: The Importance of Self-Care for Your Mental and Physical Well-Being

Girl, it is so easy to get caught up in a horrible routine we had no idea we created and now we’re overweight, not as confident as we use to be and mad at ourselves for not starting a workout routine sooner. I’m here to let you know that it’s okay to feel this way. Let this help guide you to a better version of yourself and what has helped me.

I’m not telling you to join a gym, trust me I get it! 😅Baby steps. 🙌🏽

These 3 things are ways to improve your life today.

  1. Journal; Such a powerful way to truly reflect on your days and look back on what was going on a specific day. Adding this to my life has helped me accomplish so much. It helps hold me accountable and allows me space to write to my future self.

  2. Drink Your Water! My skin…has been skinning! Ok!? Like on point glowing like I am fresh off an island vacation. Of course I do also have a decent skin care routine, I found that worked for me and I’ve even gotten my blemishes to start disappearing.

  3. Move Your Body I get it the gym can be intimidating which is why just moving your body at home for as little as 30 minutes a day can help. Get a walking partner and move your body girl.

Start today, I heard it takes only 21 days to make something a habit. I’ve only been consistently journaling for 6 months now, I can only imagine what a full year will look like for my life. Doing these simple things will help improve your mind, body and soul.
