Avoiding Burn Out!
Don’t you hate it when you have so much to get done and you don’t feel like doing literally anything? I’ve been there and that my friend is called Burn Out. 😣It’s such an awful feeling. Isolated, overwhelmed and mentally just tired. I get it and I want to tell you exactly how I have been avoiding feeling the funk these days.
You may just need a quite moment to yourself, so you have some mental clarity. Our minds run rapid with so many things we see and hear everyday. It can be overwhelming, even when we don’t realize it. Below is what has helped me realize how I can take a break and still keep my business running like I never stepped away.
Schedule your post
Schedule off days
Set a time you will be off from social media
Eliminate screen time for a solid hour of your day
Unfollow/Unfriend anyone who doesn’t make you feel good
There are many apps out there that help your business run without having to have our phone and laptops in our hand constantly. Off days still not feeling like a full off day to you? I’ve been there before, I get it! Working 7 days a week no matter how much you love what you do can be so tiring. My off days are in the beginning of the week and I do this so when the world is at work, I am at rest. The beauty industry is always awake no matter the time of day, so I figured out what days worked better for my busy schedule. Having my off days only on weekends doesn’t give me personal time to schedule dentist visits or even doctors appointments which is another reason why the beginning of the week works for my off days. Social media will drain you faster and sometimes discourage you so be sure you have some downtime without it every once in awhile. Whoever invented the unfollow button is genius lol anything that I see that doesn’t bring me joy or make me feel good I let it go….Quickly! Don’t hold on to people or things that don’t make you happy.
I hope this helped remind you that rest days are so important!
Talk to you soon my friend.
Lots of love, Brionna
